The Louisiana Emerging Technology Center is located at the west gateway to the LSU campus, directly adjacent to the Parker Coliseum / Livestock Exhibit Building.

  • Corner of East Parker Street and West Lakeshore Drive (if coming from off campus)
  • Corner of East Parker Street and South Stadium Drive (if coming from on campus)

The 3-story LETC is on the corner with a circular drive at the front entrance on East Parker. The parking lot is directly adjacent to the building on the South side, accessible from either the front circular drive or from East Parker.

Coming East (from Lafayette):

  1. Cross Mississippi River bridge and take I-10/I-110 to New Orleans
  2. Pass Washington, Dalrymple and Perkins exits
  3. Exit on Acadian (Exit 157B) and go right on Acadian Thruway
  4. At the Acadian/Perkins interchange (second light from interstate) the street name changes to Stanford Avenue
  5. Continue south on Stanford to West Lakeshore. (1.5 miles from the Interstate to West Lakeshore). Several streets on the right have “Lakeshore” in their name, but wait until the one named West Lakeshore. (At the light at the end of the lake and right before the street enters an obviously residential area)
  6. Turn right on West Lakeshore
  7. West Lakeshore has a canal and the lakes on your right and houses on your left.
  8. Follow West Lakeshore through several curves until you reach the “edge” of the LSU campus.
  9. The first intersection is East Parker and West Lakeshore.
  10. Turn left onto East Parker.
  11. The LETC circular drive is immediately on your right.
  12. Parking lot is accessible from the circular drive or the next right hand turn off of East Parker.

Coming West (from New Orleans / Hammond):

  1. Enter Baton Rouge via I-10 or I-12
  2. Continue through the city past “the split”, heading to the Mississippi river or Lafayette. Pass the College Drive exit
  3. Exit on Acadian Thruway
  4. Turn left under the interstate and continue south down Acadian Thruway
  5. At the Acadian/Perkins interchange (second light from interstate) the street name changes from Acadian Thruway to Stanford Avenue
  6. Continue south on Stanford Avenue. (1.5 miles from the Interstate to West Lakeshore). Several streets on the right have “Lakeshore” in their name, but wait until the one named West Lakeshore
  7. Turn right on West Lakeshore
  8. West Lakeshore has a canal and the lakes on your right and houses on your left.
  9. Follow West Lakeshore through several curves until you reach the “edge” of theLSU campus.
